Help Us Champions is a Geneva-based nonprofit co-founded by Cyrus Vahabzadeh and Andrea Levy, dedicated to providing urgent relief and long-term support to communities in crisis. Our mission is simple: turn compassion into action.
We respond rapidly to humanitarian emergencies, raise funds through youth-led campaigns, and channel resources where they are needed most — whether across the globe close to home.
Cyrus Vahabzadeh is a 17-year-old student at Institut Le Rosey, where he is completing the International Baccalaureate with a focus on Global Politics and Entrepreneurship. Passionate about bridging divides and empowering youth, Cyrus is committed to turning compassion into action.
He co-founded Help Us Champions with Andrea Levy to provide relief to communities in crisis and to inspire students to engage in global philanthropy. Through this initiative, Cyrus aims to create sustainable solutions, foster empathy, and mobilize the next generation to take leadership in humanitarian efforts.
Andrea Levy is a 17-year-old student at NYU Stern with a longstanding passion for service and social impact. Inspired by personal challenges he faced at a young age, Andrea developed a deep commitment to supporting others and strengthening communities.
Together with his friend Cyrus Vahabzadeh, he co-founded Help Us Champions, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to providing critical relief to communities in crisis. Andrea’s vision is to bring light to those in need, mobilizing young people to take meaningful action and create lasting change.
We are committed to responding to evolving global challenges.
We are extending our assistance to new communities in need.
Our work is making a difference in the lives of people around the world, particularly through our base in Morocco, Sudan and United States.
1. Morocco:
This marks our inaugural mission, and we’re privileged to lead the way, providing hope and assistance to Morocco in the aftermath of earthquakes.
2. Sudan:
Our second mission expanded Help Us Champions’ reach to East Africa, where Sudan faced a devastating humanitarian crisis driven by famine, conflict, and displacement. We mobilized quickly to raise funds and deliver emergency food supplies, clean water, and essential aid to affected communities. This mission reinforced our commitment to rapid, targeted relief and strengthened our network of partners, allowing us to respond more effectively to urgent global needs.
3. United States
Our third mission brought Help Us Champions’ efforts to North America, supporting communities devastated by unprecedented wildfires. We raised funds to provide displaced families with temporary housing, essential supplies, and recovery assistance. This mission highlighted the global scope of our work — proving that our commitment to humanitarian relief knows no borders and extends to any community in crisis.
At Help Us Champions, we are deeply committed to financial transparency, ensuring every donation is meticulously managed and impactful. We believe you have a right to know exactly how your generosity transforms lives, which is why we uphold the highest standards of accountability in all our operations.
Here’s how we allocated our most recent $30,000+ in donations:
Result: 85% of funds went directly to humanitarian aid, with minimal overhead — maximizing the impact of every donation.
In September 2023, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Morocco’s High Atlas region, one of the strongest in decades. Entire mountain villages were flattened, leaving over 2,900 dead, thousands injured, and critical infrastructure destroyed.
Survivors faced extreme shortages of food, clean water, and medical care, while tens of thousands were displaced into makeshift shelters. The remote, mountainous terrain made rescue and aid delivery difficult, prolonging the suffering of vulnerable communities.
Relief efforts from the Moroccan government, NGOs, and international partners rushed to deliver emergency supplies, rebuild infrastructure, and provide psychological support — but the scale of the disaster highlighted the need for sustained global solidarity and long-term recovery planning.

We worked closely with Ndir Lkhir to ensure families have access to basic shelter and warmth. This was critical, especially during the colder months. Ndir Lkhir played a vital role in providing temporary housing for many families who lost their homes.

Together, we are making a tangible difference in people's lives.
Ongoing civil conflict in Sudan has severely disrupted agriculture, trade routes, and essential services. Millions have been displaced from their homes, losing their livelihoods and access to food production, exacerbating an already dire situation.
Over 20 million Sudanese face acute food insecurity, with areas like Darfur and Kordofan on the brink of famine. Children are particularly vulnerable, suffering from severe malnutrition and increased mortality rates due to lack of nourishment.
Despite efforts by international organizations, funding gaps and access restrictions hinder the delivery of vital assistance. There is an urgent call for increased humanitarian aid, protection for civilians, and sustainable solutions to resolve the conflict.

Your contributions enabled us to provide crucial food supplies and nutritional supplements to vulnerable families, especially children, battling severe malnutrition. We focus on delivering high-energy foods and therapeutic feeding programs to those most at risk.

Access to safe drinking water is paramount in preventing disease. Donations helped establish and repair water points, distribute water purification tablets, and provide hygiene kits, significantly reducing the spread of waterborne illnesses in displacement camps.

We supported mobile clinics and distributed essential medicines to provide basic healthcare to communities with no access to medical facilities. This aid addresses immediate health crises and offers vital care to those affected by conflict and displacement.
The Western United States faces increasingly severe and frequent wildfires, driven by climate change, prolonged droughts, and dense dry vegetation. These conditions create a volatile landscape, leading to massive, fast-moving blazes that are difficult to contain.
Wildfires wreak havoc on communities, destroying thousands of homes and forcing widespread evacuations. Beyond property loss, residents suffer health impacts from smoke, psychological trauma, and long-term economic disruption as entire towns struggle to recover.
Firefighters and emergency responders work tirelessly, often in extreme conditions, to protect lives and property. However, the sheer scale of these fires highlights the urgent need for enhanced prevention strategies, sustainable land management, and robust recovery support.
